‘The UK Supreme Court handed down its judgment in Andrysiewicz v Circuit Court in Lodz, Poland [2025] UKSC 23 earlier this Summer. The decision is important for evaluating the weight to be given to early release mechanisms in the context of immigration appeals, and in particular for its dismissal of the approach adopted by Fordham J in the case of Dobrowolski [2023] EWHC 763 (Admin).’
