Exciting opportunities available for law graduates at established start-up in Central London

FromCounsel, an online corporate intelligence service for law firms and in-house lawyers, is looking for Legal Editors to join its growing team based in Central London (WC1N).

Developed by barristers from Erskine Chambers, the pre-eminent set for corporate matters, and a team of experienced professional support lawyers drawn from city law firms, FromCounsel provides a wealth of practical, in-depth, ready-made answers to the crucial questions facing company law practitioners in their day-to-day work.

This is an exciting opportunity for a conscientious law graduate to join this dynamic start-up and assist in the production of premium quality legal content in a rewarding, friendly and flexible working environment. Competitive salary offered.

The ideal candidate will be looking for interesting and rewarding legal work in the intervening period before commencing pupillage/training contract.

Key responsibilities:
– Providing editorial assistance to PSLs and Head of Content;
– Assisting with the production and updating of legal content;
– Converting copy into house style;
– Proof-reading and legal research.

Key requirements:
– A minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent qualification;
– A high standard of written English and a thorough attention to detail;
– Excellent research skills;
– A proven ability to work to tight deadlines.

Positions available commencing August/September 2016.
